The Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 replaces the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and will apply in full from 20 January 2027. This training provides you with the entire chain – from the legal basis of CE marking and risk assessment to technical documentation, digital instructions for use, cybersecurity, and market surveillance.
A complete e-learning course on CE marking and Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 of the European Parliament and of the Council on machinery. Eight modules will take you from the legal basis of CE marking and the new legislative framework, through scope, roles, essential health and safety requirements, risk assessment, harmonised standards, high-risk machinery, and notified bodies, to technical documentation, instructions for use, digitalisation, cybersecurity, substantial modifications, market surveillance, and sanctions. Each module concludes with a module quiz that must be passed to proceed, and the course ends with a final quiz of 50 questions.
Kursens mål
After the training, participants should be able to explain the meaning and legal basis of CE marking, determine if a product falls under the Machinery Regulation, identify the company's role and obligations, carry out and document a risk assessment, select the correct conformity assessment procedure, compile technical documentation and the EU declaration, and manage substantial modifications, market surveillance, and sanctions.
